Health and Wellbeing Coaching

So what is a Health and Wellbeing Coach?

A Health and Wellbeing Coach is a guide and mentor who empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set goals to make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness.

A Health and Wellbeing Coach does not take the place of a medical practioner by diagnosing or treating symptoms but encourages positive changes in line with the client’s chosen wellness goals.

Through regular meetings and communication, Health and Wellbeing Coaches support you and hold you accountable to make changes in a reasonable time frame. They empower and motivate you to be consistent with these changes in your everyday lives and in the future.

Health and Wellbeing Coaches initially meet with you and discuss your health, asking you questions about your daily life including what you eat and drink, what exercise you take, how you sleep, your health background and any health concerns you may have.

Following the initial consultation, Health and Wellbeing Coaches identify certain areas of your health and wellbeing which they think could be improved and give you the opportunity to commence a health and wellness programme.

Programmes need to run for multiple sessions as it takes time to implement change so that it is effective and results can be seen. Together Health and Wellbeing Coaches help their clients to create a vision of where they want to go to by the end of the programme and create goals to help them achieve this.
