My background

About me

My name is Gill Judge and I have been living in Christchurch, New Zealand for nearly 11 years after emigrating from the United Kingdom. I am happily married with one son. I have always had a keen interest in health and fitness and am passionate about being physically active and eating nutritious food to fuel the body for daily life. I have had a wealth of life experiences including moving countries, becoming a mother, teaching and I have worked in the corporate world for many years. I have also managed a ski chalet were I cooked healthy meals for paying guests and have worked for a sports organisation where I encouraged children to become more active. I have always been keen to start my own business and after completing my training as a Health and Wellbeing Coach, I decided the time was right. The modern world is heading towards a health crisis with cancer, obesity, heart disease and diabetes rates soaring. Many modern day health issues can be helped by looking at diet and lifestyle. This is where Health and Wellbeing Coaches can help as they look holistically at these areas and aim to address the root cause of the issue rather than providing a quick fix to simply address the symptoms. I am excited about having the opportunity to help people be their best and inspire and motivate others on their journey to reach their own personal health and wellbeing goals so they can lead a happier and healthier life.

My training

I studied with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where I was taught innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques and was made aware of over 100 different dietary theories including Gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan and macrobiotics. My training has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching and disease prevention. As a Health and Wellbeing Coach I work with my clients to help them make lifestyle changes that will produce real and lasting results. Clients will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for them, improving their energy, balance, health and happiness.
